The Canadian Society of Professional Skin Care Specialists was formed in 2000 by a small group of professional skin care educators. It is a non-profit organization run by volunteers with medical-esthetic backgrounds. The Society represents the CIDESCO Section for Canada. The purpose is to raise the standard for estheticians and share information for the mutual benefit of the members

Cristina Ramirez has been involved in the educational field for more than 20 years. She is the Vice-Principal of Gina’s College of Advanced Esthetics in Mississauga which has been established since 1979. She is also the Vice President of a nation-wide distributor of products and supplies. As a dedicated professional, she continues to travel all over the world to attend major congresses and seminars.
Pamela Adkins trained and worked as a beauty therapist in
England since 1980 and is presently based in Japan where she
is the Executive Educational Director of Takara International
Esthetic College. She is the Board Member for Education for
the Japanese Section overseeing all education matters
including lectures and teacher training for schools. Pamela
is an experienced Cidesco International Examiner and although
she is still based in Japan, she is also a Canadian resident
and the Canadian Section welcomes her participation and
experience on the Advisory Board.
